CBD (cannabidiol) is non-psychoactive. In pure isolate form, CBD contains 0% THC — nothing to get you high, and nothing that typically shows up on a standard drug test.

Does CBD get you high?
No. CBD is non-psychoactive. It doesn't bind to the same receptors the way THC does, which is why it produces no "high." This is true regardless of whether you take isolate, broad spectrum, or even full spectrum (which keeps only a legal trace of up to 0.3% THC — not enough to feel).
Does CBD show up on a drug test?
Standard workplace drug tests look for THC metabolites, not CBD. So the relevant question is: does your CBD product contain THC? With CBD isolate (0% THC), there's no THC to metabolize — the safest choice if you're tested. Full or broad spectrum products carry at least a theoretical trace risk. If being clean is non-negotiable, isolate is the defensible pick.
Legal difference
